Beautifully constructed by local craftsman, Paul, this glamorous structure, inspired by Mongolian yurts provides the ultimate in glamping.
The "yurt" has a king size double bed built from our own oak, allows you to look both out to sea and up through the tree tops to the stars. The adjoining bathroom has all the essentials, champagne bucket, a roll-top Victorian bath, a flushing toilet and views to the stars.
The handcrafted kitchen with oak work-top and cupboards made from recycled pallets has a Belfast sink, fridge, twin induction hob.
Moving through the French doors to your barbecue, you step on to a viewing platform over the idyllic sandy beach and are surrounded by majestic native woodland - if you can find a shower with a better view we will fill the champagne bucket!
This yurt is really designed for two, but there is plenty of room for two little ones.
Your accommodation is located at the bottom of an eight acre wild garden with an orchard, two wonderful ponds, full of dragonflies, lilies and one very lonely but well-fed carp and a woodland garden. There are two paths to down to the beach, one past a charming Folly and the biggest oak tree you will ever see, and the Fuchsia Walk lined by a stand of coppiced hornbeams.
